Lusso Records Round 13

Dear Lusso friend,

The new Lusso’s have been sent to the pressing plant and are expected to be ready January 2026.

It is again a special round for me and every release has its own story.

I hope you go crazy when you see the releases on Discogs and the music that goes with it!

Let’s do everything we can to continue to enjoy this fantastic music stream and support me!

LUMIX 055

Ringo DJ – Five Lights Bright (Re-press)

Due to high demand, I’ve decided to re-press this hit, the same music but with a different colored cover/label.

* Ringo Pellegrini has been a DJ for decades and is still active.

He wrote one song and gave the Masters in 1985 to Severino Lombardoni (Disco Magic), who promised to press 1500 copies and give him a few.

This never happened and after 40 years this fantastic track has been revived!

Johnny Papagiannis has re-recorded the entire track with real hardware synthesizers, Ringo (still) has a great voice and has re-recorded the track.

Lusso Records has mixed the track, and everything sounds like it was in the 80s, even though the cover is like it was from that time.

A must-have for the real Italo fan!

LUMIX 060

Sky Creackers – Night Fever

* You’ll probably recognize the Plexy-Glass cover of the fantastic Memory Records. After over 40 years, there’s a new “Sky Creackers”!

A follow-up to “You Should Be Dancing”, sung by the same voice from back then!

A great voice and a wonderful, sweet man…Paradiso Gilioli!

Recreated with hardware synthesizers by Johnny Papagiannis,

Mixed and produced by Lusso Records.

A wonderful and recognizable melody that will take you back to the ’80s.

Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy!

LUMIX 061

Vienna – Master Of The Game / In To The Night

* A bomb! Two hits on one vinyl!

Unfindable and a dream for everyone, that’s for sure!

These tracks from Sweden are a feast for the ears and deserve to be played loud!

Mastered by the hero himself: E-Control, so the quality is fantastic again.

It’s never been confirmed, but I’m convinced the singer is the singer of FAKE!

Listen to yourself.

If you know these tracks and don’t have the vinyl, then this is a must-have for your collection.

Don’t you know these tracks? Then a whole new world will open up for you, and you’ll start the new year strongly!

LUMIX 062

Maskio – Maskarp-One

* A new track from Maskio?

No, it’s an existing track from ‘Camaro’s Gang’s 1985 LP Decamerone’.

The hero’s behind the name “Maskio” has written and sung many hits that people don’t know about, and I’m happy to share this with you.

Maskarp-One is re-arranged with hardware synthesizers by Johnny Papagiannis, mixed and produced by Lusso Records.

On the B-side, you’ll find a Lusso version of the remarkable song “Fuerza Major” by “Camaro’s Gang,” and I don’t need to tell you who re-arranged it…thanks, Johnny!

Dark and sensitive, great compositions with fantastic vocals!

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!.

LUMIX 063

Go East – Strangers From The Light

* After many years I finally found the owner of the song “Strangers From The Light”!

This song is better known under the name “Baltinore”, but this is a made-up name. The real name, which the original artist came up with in 1989, is “Go East,” and after consultation, we decided to use it!

It’s a hit and is now available in an Extended Version, an instrumental version, and on the B-side, you’ll find a radio and instrumental version with the same arrangement, just with different lyrics and vocals.

The music was created in the ’80s, officially never released and how great is it that we finally have it on vinyl? This is your chance to add these tracks to your collection.

LUMIX 064

Magic Circus – Mass Media Revence

* This track is a special story…

In my search for Italo Disco vinyl I’ve met many friends/fans/artists and in the ’80s I met two friends from the south of Holland.

They were true fanatics like me, and we could share everything, a great time.

We still did everything by phone or letter.

One of those guys (Rene van Geenen) had a great sense of music (he had a musician in him) and he composed and recorded four tracks on a cassette tape with a small keyboard;

I’ve kept the cassette tape all these years and digitized it. About a year ago, I came across it again and talked to Johnny about whether we could make something out of it?

We’ll release it first as an instrumental track, and if there’s interest,

we’ll consider doing a vocal version sometime, so…who knows?

The track is fantastic, and I hope you enjoy the result.
